GOALs 2020 Progress (1)

Health
- To schedule a health checkup post meditation class
- More abs /core exercise (progressing - better than last time, but can be better ie do 50 times a day to start)
- Need to start training for my full marathon

Emotions & Spirituality
- Both are somehwat linked
- I missed out on reading Buddhist books lately, will cover it back (reading later)
- I did remind myself the way I need to behave by reading my daily reminder as frequent as possible
- Less angry, more calm most of the time, but still not yet 'there'

Family
- Learning to accept them for who they are (and not to change them)
- Be more open and accepting when talking to them
- I wrote I should update them daily but I think this kind of stopped for a bit. To restart again soon

Finances
- I still find studying 3 hours a day every weekday difficult, perhaps due to my other commitment - ie work which may make it difficult to sustain this activity. Perhaps to revise it to study 2hrs + skip on work days
- Funded my TOS account, now to prepare myself before I plunge into trading options
- I have NOT incorporate QMDJ into trading. To put this into the checklist

Adventure
- Nothing yet, just the start of the year
- Revised to remove the visiting China and UK for now
- Suggest to do more hiking to new places: Bukit Kutu and Gunung Datuk. Revisit Gunung Nuang
- Have hiked Bkt Besi, Bkt Gasing and Bkt Saga - so I think this performed better than others

Hobby
- Commit time to reading - this one I think I am doing better than other commitments/habit building
- To read bazi for 10 pax in 2020 - so far i have read 2, have another 1 to 2 in pipeline. Let's see
- I have been typing the notes but too long to convert
- Suggest to self to watch finish the 2020 Zodiac videos first - finish this note first
- My korean practice have died down due to CNY + sister coming back for visit

Rating 0/10 - Have not done anythign on sustainable living, in fact probably did worse as I did not use much of my straw in KL or in PG this month

penang trip

Grateful things for today
1) found a solution to address how sis can deal with Ethan. By deducting his minutes on the phone
2) did my exercise in the morning. 
3) manage to drive through to ipoh without feeling tired. This even though I didnt sleep that early yesterday.

grateful for the week post

1) that I sort of raised the potential issue with tz. I think it's good to have it out before going any further
2) trading. I think this week was ok even though they're weren't many opportunities. Ok that I am a is determined
3) mahjong. You have to believe, and have right attitude and mindset. 😂


hiking: Bukit Saga 2020

I was not that surprised when I heard from yeeli two weeks back that she was going to hike Bkt. Saga. I have been waiting to get confirmation from someone that Bkt Saga was still open. She did that for me. Thank you Yeeli!

We went there yesterday. Emily, jyi, yf and Wang Wei. We got off to a bad start as the construction path was Muddy and it sinks in easily, and goes in deeply too.

Once we passed that, then we start the climb up. The path was A (from the residence). I realized during this hike how steep Saga really is. Wow. Each time you look up and can see the angles.  Like a very steep staircase. Crazy. 😂

We took about 1.5hrs to reach the peak. There was a guy who was sharing with us that there will be a group that is hiking to the lookout point. To and from will take approximately four hours. Wished I could have join them.

2 years already?

By end of this year I can eat steak etc like normal. Though I think i may stick to my current diet. It does make it easier when I eat at home or out with friends.
