Instead of just reading for the sake of reading, it should be more purposeful.

I should read and then subsequently do the application, reflect, then only move on to the next reading. There is no point to keep reading and holding back in the application. 

So learn and make action to do the application of your reading notes first. Align it to what you want to achieve at this point in time
