Why Championship Manager / Football Manager Is Good For You.

Well, just finished playing Guild Wars. Now watching a very Gross show the Dentist.. ughh...

Anyways, just want to tell you guys how educational it is playing FM05 or CM series. I've been playing for years already, I think almost 8yrs? Since the 96/97 till now... :) So whats with this game that can bring so much good into a person? Well, for starters, the game itself allows one person to learn and explore new English words. Words like "indispensable, hot prospect, adaptability, determination, flair and injury proness" are almost new and deep words to the young ones. Playing this game at an early age will allow an early discovery of words you never knew existed. Hehehe.. therefore playing the game could very well improve a player's English proficiency

2) Learning more about the Game. For football newbies, they could actually get to learn more abt the real football from this cool game. Learning about the rules of Champions League, bookings, away goal rule and such could really generates a greater knowledge about the game. Furthermore, the new version of the game, which generates the match itself, could really show the newbies what does it mean by offside. Offside is when an attacker is further in front of the defenders when the ball is played to him. This is to avoid what we Malaysians call 'chap-kai' (Direct translation would mean steal chicken) Other than that, the game shows what qualities one person needs to play in certain positions. For example, a defender, centre back, would probably need higher attributes in heading skills and tackling whereas midfielders requires more of stamina, passing, visions and etc. But attirbutes required of a player also depends on the style and tactics played by the club. Clubs who uses wingers need players who can cross and dribble.

3) Learning more about other countries. Don't know where Slovenia is? Which country Boca Juniors is from? Under which continent the country of Peru is in? The game will answer it all. Haha.. Yes.. Playing the game not only is a good way to spend your time, but you get to learn more about countries and names of countries that you never even heard of! :) Amazing Huh?

4) Improve you ability as a manager. Always sucked at being a HRM? Well suck no more. Self-improving programs for Human Resource managers could not get any more fun than this. You'll learn how to control you team, ensuring everyone is happy, taking the best out of your limited resources (buying the best players with lmited money) and offering a good contract that satisfies your players and ur club at the same time. LoL. Isnt learning now even more fun than before? :)

5) Healthy way to spend ur free time. Addiction to drug? BAD Addiction to drinks? BAD Addiction to smoking? BAD Addiction to cybercafes? Money consuming Addiction to movies? Money consuming Addiction to food? Money consuming and plus it makes u obese Addiction to FM2005? GOOD! Fm2005 is a type of 'drug' that u may get hook up easily if you do not control your urge! :P They even have ratings for ur addiction in the game!! How many games offer you that?!? LoL Fm2005 makes one person to become anti social and stay home spending at least 6 hours playing the game. 2 seasons every 3 days. :) how cool is that? Can't win the game and u feel pissed that u wasted all your money? Don't worry. Press ALT-CTRL- DELETE and your problem is solved! This sort of games offer you a chance to replay the games until you win the game the way you want it!! LOL.. but this is time consuming

In the end, I could name a lot more reasons but I just dont bother anymore.. not to say anyone of you play the game also. Besides those stated above, you'll learn the currency of diff countries, the exchange rate, lol, Football websites around the world, awesome cool names to name your kids, types of training that can build you into a future star (Yeah RIGHT) and so forth.

EnD.
