england.. lost

whos to blame?

ironic part was that 9 nine men, no rooney or beckham... england played better than ever....

I still rmb in 04 hw I go 'crazy' over Ricardo.. the gk lol the guys will know abt this at ccw's house

he was really good with penalties.. and he still is!

anyways... carragher is not a pk taker... eriksson sux?

robinson could have done better... you can tell that he wasnt really confident and didnt really put in much effort to save the pks

on the pks by lampard and gerrard, the only thing the could have done better was to hit it further to the corner... it was because the ball was in the keeper's reach... thats how Ricardo got to the ball

anyways sorry Lyd.. better luck next time

Beckham quits capt. which is good i guess... better go down the stage yourself rather than being pushed/forced. Everyone believes that Terry could be next one with Gerrard behind him, well, why cant Gerrard be the Capt? I think that Gerrard's passion is way more stronger and deeper than Terry's. Anyways, if Terry is picked as the capt, I would be happy, since Gerrard can have less pressure and stress... to lead Liverpool back to their Glory Days. :)

One more thing to mention is Ronaldo's reaction against Rooney. from soccernet he explained that he just telling the ref that it was a foul and did not mean to get Rooney a red card.

food for thought: your team is losing the match, you tripped urself in the opponent's pk box.. the ref called for foul and award your team a penalty. are you going to tell the ref that its not a foul and you trip yourself OR you going to keep it to urself?
Robbie Fowler admit that it was not a foul :) in a match against Arsenal
