LoL Portugal out of WC d... hehe but I expected it to happen...
yesterday I created this theory on WC, that teams that beat the big countries will eventually get knocked out of the game. Basically the favourites will lose..
For e.g. Brazil (fav) lost to France, Germany (fav) lose to Italy..
So since Italy is already in the final, who will join Italy? Portugal or France?
My theory is that if Portugal win France, they ll become the fav to win the cup, and will eventually lose to Italy. If however France qualified for the final, I believe that France will win Italy, cos in the WC06 overall France didnt really perform until the qualifying stages... So I say that France will win!! But then again, they have Zizou on their side. Euro Championship 2 yrs back, Figo who is the legend for Portugal side lost to Greece in final. The same could happen here... hehe
