Participated in a CPA networking event. Was interesting that the speaker is a PhD grad + comedian. Caught up with some. Ypn members. The tapioca kuih damn nice!
Went for touch n go event. Caught up with Amanda. Chairman received sponsor from TnG worth 15k.for the garden. Awesome work!
Had a dinner with some ypn peeps. Met and talked to Kristy for the first time, lay see's friend. Expensive though at oriental Pavillion. Sharmans wines were tasty!
Met with Cindy suyong Karen and munlee for badminton and dinner.
Started reading world war z. Enjoyed playing hard west. My fm Liverpool knocked out of group stage UCL in a group consist of ajax, Salzburg, n lyon. Shame !
Ran today for the first time in weeks!
Gained 4kg since back from Africa, now left 2kg to lose.

Yesterday
Breakfast. Ate less than the day before. More on the cold fiber food nia.
Cape point and hope. The journey took about 1hr 20mins. The point is to see the crossover of the Indian and Atlantic Ocean. The difference are Indian are less rough, warmer and darker than Atlantic. You can see the color difference..
Cape hope is where the rough sea is and used to be called the Cape of storms due to the many shipwrecks encountered at the location.
We went for Penguin sightseeing. Africa penguins. Looks damn grumpy. Many of them.
Bought some aloe products for friends' wives.
Rare stone shop. Bought some smaller pieces for souvenirs. Damn cheap. Rand 1-2.
Diamond. Didn't buy anything but it was interesting to see the two couples hustle and bargain for the best price. Lol.
Vietnam dinner. So so nia.
Went to gym for 30mins run.
Day before yesterday
Went up to Table Mountain, super windy. The wind actually push me to one side. That's how strong it was. Spent about 1hr walking here and there. Took some nice photos. A guy's cap almost flew off. Lol. When we were leaving, the alarm actually rang because it was too windy.
Signal Hill. Shorter and lower hill but the hill have a good view of table mountain.
Malay quarter. Last time the Dutch bring the Malay back here and they have a designated quarter. As they are mostly illiterate, for posting services, they color their houses with different bright colors and will inform the postman to mail it to ie "the green house next to the blue house".
Seal cruise. So so nia
Shopping. A lot of clothing to buy but I think the pricing is about the same as Malaysia.
African dinner. This is very interesting. Range of different African countries' dishes. They have tapioca cheese bread, Dahl dipping, chicken, lamb stew, salad-ish vegetables (cold veges), fried fish and soup. Dessert was ice cream lol.

Today 1/7
Kanonkop vineyard. Did wine tasting. The local Cape Town wine is pinotage. I find it more on the blend side, not as flavorful as I like. One of the tour group fella bought the black label (costing about rm500+) to try. Tbh I find that OK nia. I like the Paul Sauer. It is quite fragrant and tasty too. I ended up buying a rose and pinotage, just to let the guys try.try. My personal favorite is the Paul Sauer and cabernet sauvignon.
After the wine tasting, we head to brandy tasting. The tasting comes with chocolate pairing. Brandy is not my poison so I didn't really enjoy it. We end up buying two moscato here for rand48 each.
Head for dinner after. Expensive dinner with beautiful scenery of the mountains and vineyard. The appetiser is fish with chilli wanton followed by slow cooked pork belly. Dessert is chocolate mousse. We ordered oyster too which is damn fresh! About rm16 each
Then we head to cheetah sanctuary. I didn't go in so I took photos from outside nia. Saw a three legged jackal. Like it a lot. Saw two big shepherd dogs.
Now we are heading for dinner.
The next morning we went for Morning game drive. Prior to that we took a croissant and coffee/tea. Croissant was awesome!
During the drive, we manage to see 🦁s, impalas, elephants, giraffes, vulture, bald Eagle, a jackal hunting birds eggs while being harassed by the birds. We also saw from far hyenas and vultures feeding on a dead animal.
Also we saw how the impalas were staring at the lions' direction (even though the lions were far away). According to the guide, the bats sound to alert others about the lions' presence.
After game drive, we head back for breakfast, breakfast pancake = good. Bacon and pork sausage = good. English muffin = good.
Checked out and head to Crossing border to zimbabwe.
We rest for a bit before heading to the wet, wet Victoria falls. Wet cos the splash from waterfall flies up and turns into rain. We were all soaked.
Boma dinner. Local dinner.. Tried their mopani worm. Crunchy like Ikan bilis.
Stars. Can see beautiful stars. Many bright stars. No cloud.
Day2
Game drive again. This time colder. Maybe cos of the wind and lack of hot drinks in the morning.
Saw giraffe, rhino and elephants up close. Saw zebra and baboons too.
Breakfast in the safari. Food was simple. But excellent.. (big breakfast)
Now waiting for heli ride. Will take us around Victoria falls and safari
Updated. The helicopter ride was awesome.! Get to see the gorge of the river and the waterfall again!
After helicopter ride we were taken to the market (didn't buy anything cos no small change) before we head for lunch, which is fish n' chips in a hotel across kfc.. We stopped by at the town for a bit but nothing too special. Most of the gift shops were selling what they already have at the market earlier.
We went back and rest at the hotel, before heading for a river cruise. The boat was three tier and they serve unlimited alcohol. I had two beers (prefer zimbezi over castle light) and two red wines (cabsav better than merlot). Didn't see anything too wow at the river. Saw elephants and hippos.
Dinner at the hotel. Received surprise birthday cake. Too big too finish so shared with every one, including the staff.
Crashed on bed until 12am. Lol.
So yesterday night, before heading to sleep, I visited the gym for a bit. Did some weights, rowing, followed by Pacific rim exercise. Was going for 24 mins run but stopped after 5 mins. Rest and balik
Morning started with awesome breakfast. Fruits, cereal, then big breakfast! Bacon and pork sausage were soooo good! The French toast was disappointing.
Head back to room to pack up and empty my body lol. Bus for 40mins or so. Now at airport waiting to fly to Kasane. Was considering to buy the Sapiens book but decided against it after checking with qmdj.
We reached the airport. Small immigration area. Then we took Jeep to the resort before we hop on river cruise.
Managed to sight see elephants, giraffe, water Buffalo, crocodiles, hippo, lizards, fowls, impalas, antelopes.
Room to mosquito netting, but the toilet lock doesn't work and the balcony lamp is broken too. Good thing about botswana and zimbabwe is that they use the same power plug as Malaysia.

Gathering with cousins for dinner. Ah boi koko, Sam, Joanne, ah leng and ah Mei jie2, ah theng jie2, Hs Jo and me.
Sam bought me a perfume.
We ate at red kettle. Quite good actually the food there. I ordered sausage pasta. Love the pork sausage and pasta, even though it was slightly too spicy. After red kettle we went to Koi Kafe. Ordered bingsu. The ice shavings are very fine but milk based. Mochi nice also!
Thursday 22/6
Shopping. Ate at vege chap fan then visited atria and ecurve. At atria, bought running pants (to be used for swimming too), a skuff and hiking socks. I also bought travelling liquid containers and a box for storage (dead of winter, pr or agricola). At ecurve, bought two Columbia shirt. Quite cheap I think if the quality is what it says. (breathable, wicking, waterproof wo.)
Friday.
Garden Meeting at Cher seng house
Lunch with tseyee and ks at Kenny Hill bistro. Not bad also the food there. Coffee was good and the strudel too!
Flew from. KL to Sg on Friday night. Prior to that chilled at the lounge. Had some tid bits but the food is just so so. Drank malbec (red wine). In the plane they served sandwich.
Landed at sg and waited for an hour before headed into lounge because was waiting for free coupon.
At lounge, had red wine shiraz, champagne and soup. Tried their cheese platter too! 😍 hot chocolate was yummy. Must be cos they put a lot of sugar.
Flew from. Sg to Johannesburg at 2am. On board services damn nice (business class, what else to expect). Had sandwich and dim sum. Didn't order other food in between. Tried both their red wines. Cannot decide which one I like more. I think Italian was lighter and u can taste the sweetness of cacao.
I watched 2night (Italian), alibi (French) and tiramisu (italian). Enjoyable movies with I doubt I can find the online at piratebay. 2night I'd about this girl picked up a guy at a bar and their journey throughout the night of finding a car park so they can go up to her house to make out. Alibi is about how this guy helps others create valid alibi to allow others provide them a. Getaway or meet their mistress. Last one is about a salesman so consumed in work and using his wife's tiramisu to influence his sales.
In Africa, visited three places already.

Sowento, Nelson Mandela's home and Héctor pieces on museum. Peterson is about a guy who got shot at the age of 12 by the police during the apartheid era.
After that, we went for lunch @ butcher Shop. The size of the meal is x2 for Asians. They served beef sausage and bread as Appetiser, followed with Greek salad platter. The beef was okay (not bad) but too much. The pap is like ketupat, tasteless, white colored starch.
After lunch we were delayed by 30mins due do some missing party members. Anyway after that we head to the cradle of human kind. We were rushing from here onwards so we didn't really enjoy as much as we could. Interesting moments: water in the cave covered with dusk on the water surface, teeth of the real fossil on display at maropeng, see the size of the foot of the ancient people.
We head to montecasino (our hotel /casino). Hotel is comfy, ate at lai-lai Garden (Chinese food). Food was okay but big portion. Couldn't finish. The other family that sat on our table, the daughter is only 20(looks older), studying finance. Lol
Head home after, did some steam updating. Collected some stickers and badges.

Collected 1.7k from GEC for the garden. Yay!
Arranged today dinner with MJ and YP.
Will be meeting Jolene later for discussion about the accounting. Makes sense what Cindy said that they should spend their time on business instead of admin stuff.

Gotong royong and kitmuns wedding. Yes. Even kitty is off the market. Her wedding area quite nice, at the glasshouse. However, the audio system was bad. Couldn't hear much from our side of the table. They served rose for cocktail. Must be $. Funny also how the girls were commenting in whatsapp abt the girl sitting next to me.

In the afternoon had farewell lunch with Carolyn, her bf, Nick Catherine and Terry at Tavern 13. She's going to be away for 9 months. Didn't buy gopro but got Mavic instead.

Play badminton. Garden in the morning. Dug a hole.
Wednesday been playing with fm whole morning. Lost first games of the 2nd season. Not good. Sold can, got keita. Need a better gk.
Thought of ordering dominos again. Rm30 for two pizzas. I could have some for lunch and keep some tomorrow. Thank God I managed to resist it.

I am at the stage where as I grow older, my willingness or keen to put in an effort and spare a time to do this gets lesser and lesser....
19-23/5 attended my course. Met back with Ted and Jacqueline. Made two new friends. Freshen up on the knowledge. This time the course is at puchong four points. Farr. Tried this Vietnamese restaurant which is quite OK. Felt it was authentic Viet. Not sure.. Tried it with Ted and we talked about investment and stuff. Was good catch up with him. He will.be in Kl today till Monday for another course.
We were also told to be non negotiable with the 'client' and don't do it for free in order for us to get started. I find this very true.
23/5 played badminton and broke my racquet. It's been more than 7 yrs I believe. 25/5 bought a new racquet at Kd shop. It is a nanoray 70dx for rm280. Had chilli pan mee with chew after that. (he was going to watch diyana play futsal at sports Planet).
21/5 ran half marathon. My best timing thus far, 2:22 for 21 but because scklm distance is longer, my actual timing is 2:34. I felt good. Can't say the same for hl. Lol
19/5 had dinner with MJ at Sri. Petaling organic shop
21/5 dinner at ruyi and Lynn with family for kammo and Kaufu's 40th anniversary. Nice funky food, worth trying at least once but didn't really like some of the dishes ie the lychee ball. Chicken was good.
21/5 after class before dinner, dropped by at Tesco to buy fabric freshener for the car seat (sweat etc) and milk! Got offer! 3 for rm15!

First, attended a coaching workshop yesterday with Cindy. Take away is to learn to apply that in any other relationship; be open, make the other party feel safe, make yourself trustworthy, active listening, success= awareness and action (make the party aware and take action)
After that went shopping at Tesco. Finally restocked my cereal and milk. Bought ice cream too :D.
This morning I went to garden, met with Sathis. After discussion, he is willing to fund some of the materials for the rainwater harvesting. #awesome. Now I need to find the pricing for two more items before I submit it to him.

I am so tired today. I don't know what I want to do later. I wish that I am more energetic at the moment, maybe this is because I am didn't eat my lunch.
My trip to hometown. I drove back with my dad on Friday we took turns to drive. I started off driving after lunch and I stopped around Rawang. Then my Dad drove for an hour before I took back the wheels. We reached around 6 and went straight for dinner. I met ah Chee for the second time (last was when he was still single, about 15yrs ago). This time he came to PG with his wife and kids. Wife is Carmen and kids ar Wai Oi and Wai Sun. We ate seafood/dishes.
After dinner we went to my cousin's Hotel in. Batu ferringhi. They stayed in hard Rock. We stayed for about, 30-45mins chatting before we head back. We stayed at kuma's house in lipsin
Second day we waited at home for hin pek they all to come over. I wanted to eat Bihun mee but ate Porridge instead because dad bought a big pack for kuma.
We chatted for a bit while dad went to hiking with his friends from Australia. We then drove out for dinner at this famous place in Lebuh presgrave, famous for its Prawn noodle.

on the third day I took my dad to the cemetery, we visited ah ma, ah Kong and mom.after that we went to air itam to visit kaima and 2 yee. Dad ate laksa. After that we went to. Batu lanchang for ais kacang and green fish.
I went out to meet thing thing and Vaine. Had four spoons. Not bad place in pg. Had Waffles for dinner. Went outside to watch football too.

Fourth day took ah kaima, uncle, 2yee and dad to visit ah kim jie jie. Then brought them. Back to visit kuma. Stayed for awhile then drove them back. Had my milk.and nasi lemak.

Last week transfer the plants away from the garden. Saturday moved tubs into Ecoknights. Monday moved bricks and wood.

Friday tried Shugatori with Tricia, Catherine, Terry Nick Ccw and Deanna. Pan cake and waffle is meh. Didn't try the toast. After that yumcha at mamak. Ordered chapati to share. Not bad. Will try it again.
Went hiking on Saturday with eefeng. Did saga. Initially she struggled but she got better and better. Happy that she managed to get to the top in the end.
Ate two tuna tarts, one siew bao and one bowl of noodles! The noodles' Sui kao quite good.
At night celebrated Cindy's bday at iam80scafe. We talked abt money game which Karen is already in. We over ordered but the food is not bad.
Sunday evening went for a short run before playing rummy with Catherine Terry, Nick and chew dee. Chew won 60+mstly due to diyana. I lost all!
Badminton at new vision, not as fun as in champions. Nick left without even playing, not sure the exact reason why but Calvin did his thing to him and Nick left.
Spend a lot of time at the garden and ended up the work is wasted cos on Friday we decided to redo with the help of dbkl.

Time flies. Going back tomorrow. Went to qing ming this morning. To mount Eskrine there for grandma (dad side) then to batu gantung (near the horse racecourse). After that back to mum's place.
Had lunch at Chong nam (where we usually go for hawker at night with kaima). Ordered mee mamak.
After that visited Yong and Mr Chan home with po ling jie2 and her husband. It was interesting to know that his son is sustaining his life through air bnb (three properties) and that he actually invested in solar panels and broke even already.
We then head to queensbay mall for like 30mins. I wanted to buy the seasoning kaima asked for but aeon don't have stock (odd). Anyway I dropped po ling jie2 home afterwards, before picking kammo up. We visited kumar for a bit, then she gave kaima and her some keichi (wolf berry). Kammo then led me to sunshine farlim, where I managed to buy the seasoning.
Back to air Itam, kammo told me she will have dinner with her relatives. So, I head out to the market for nestum milk and nasi lemak. Total is 4.50. Drank vitagen and ate pandan cake after that.

Woke up, exercised, drove to kumar's place. Ate economic Bihun mee. Rm1.5!

Met with kumar, po Ling jie2, her husband and aunty Helen. Drove them to tanjung tokong temple. The story about the place is that during the Japanese war time, they dropped loads of bomb. The local ppl will hide under the big rock.
After that visited kuanyin temple near little India. Then we eat lunch at this restaurant near Komtar. So so only the food.
We dropped po Ling jie2 and husband at Armenian St area for them to walk walk and sightsee the murals. Head to kumar house, stayed for awhile and chatted with ah what koko and Nicole before going back home to kaima house.
Updated a bit more of my resume, took a rest, showered before heading out again for dinner at Perut.
After dinner, po Ling jie2, husband and I headed to Paragon for drinks. I ordered English breakfast.

Someone took extra rm50 so we need to return it. I dunno why. But I took a rm50 and exchange it for another rm50 which is from kendy suen xoxo. When I was taking hers, I saw they stocked a lot of gadgets inside the ceiling of the hall.
During the break the guys talked to me complaining how they wish the tools were with them and their dislike that I dismantled them.

Went to market. Buy bang Chang kueh. Ate a bit of jawa mee and bought economic noodles. Not nice.
Chit chat for one hour or so before heading to pray pray.
Collected a plant from the temple before returning to the hotel. Learnt a new route back to home in air itam.
Kammo they all left around 12+. I went back, chat with kaima a bit more before taking a rest. Slept. Did a bit more exercise. Showered, head to pick up Vaine.
Waited for Vaine for 30mins +, delayed cos of her facial. Met with ttt at hideout Cafe. Not bad the cake and Waffles. Talked about work, money game, travelling.
Dropped Vaine before meeting up with KS. Supposed to find kuma but aunty Helen said it's flooding there so tmr morning lo
KS and sy were with sy friends. Stayed till about 11+ cos of the rain. Reached home updated a bit of my resume before reading Jefferey Deaver and tido.
Drove to penang at 830. Reached batu lanchang market at 1245. Got a overturned lorry on the highway after crossing the bridge.
Had ais kacang and popiah. Waited for Kaufu for an hour.
Drove to kaima house chill. Teman 2yee to buy things to burn for the dead.
Followed to great grandparents cemetery. Met some uncles and aunty I never met before. And a cousin named Tom. They met my mom before. Both cemetery were in poor condition and had to get people to clean up the overgrown weeds..
Dinner with the uncles and ah leng jie2, ah theng jie2 and ah boikoko with Joanne jie2. We sat with Alicia and Tom.
Dinner was filling! After dinner we rested for a bit and decided to go for tea (didn't manage to meet up with bp). We head to Moody Cow at 1120. Sat and chill for awhile (we ordered nutella cake which was so so only)
After Moody we travelled around for a bit to look for asam laksa. No luck.

I thought my application is okay until I discussed it with hl. I think I want it to be natural but ultimately in the end it is about selling you and no one wants an OK product. They want to see the potential.

dreamt I lost HS chinchilla. it ran out through the window in my room. I then went out and look for it. how I do it was like a Pokemon game. I filter the type of animal, found where the chinchilla is located and caught it. lol
but I wasn't sure if it is his chinchilla or not...its bio shows its original name as Daisy..
there were also the fighting scene at the military airport, inspired by Paul Rudd. I think the bad guy found the base and kept attacking it. pilots try to fight back but the enemy is too strong. Paul managed to land back and escape

there was the spy infiltration part, where a couple and their family head to this hotel to hack into their system to obtain some vital information. they manage to kill who they intended to kill but at the same time alerted the owners of the hotel. (all fighting and hacking happened inside vr)
and there was the scene where we are at our old house in Villa Flora. I think we were packing up to leave when someone wanted to take photo with ja and somehow they decided to strip their top and take the photo. weird. I decided to close my eyes throughout.
weird dream..heavy rain and all and some of us are on trial to be fighters ,pilot for some govt defense..the boss is a young lady.

me and my gf is on the trial. our RS were rocky already don't know why. towards the end she decided that instead of choosing either friends or couple, she use the term merged friends. then we cuddle for a bit.

Friday collected my car after the accident..had qbistro with CCW n KS. mahjong with HL n Yingling at night. won 40+
Thursday mahjong with Woon n chew. lost money to chew! 40.

I was at this second location already. the first one was already breached by the zombies. it was a house.
this second one is bigger but before we could get in came at us again so we need to run. there was a car which just arrived at the second location, another bunch of survivors looking for shelter. the car, a black 4wd, was swarmed by zombies that all the glass panels broke.
as I made my way back to the first house, there was this really tall and fast Indian guy running after me. I think he came from the car.. anyway it didn't take us too long to reach the first house. the road were zombies free (perhaps we have killed most along the way). it was about maybe 200-400m away.
when we reached, we checked the main room which the survivors tried to defend themselves. there were no sign of survivors nor zombies. we head upstairs. as gradually we ascend on this chimney -ish staircase, we realised that the wall is part wall, part stair case. you cannot really see the stairs as it is hidden behind the wooden frame design. we believe this is made such to protect the original owners from zombies.
anyway we moved up hurriedly. we finally reached a yellow walled room. big and spacious. Indian guy scouted and found a dead baby. he threw it down the stairs. next, he decided to head to the room on ground floor to salvage resources. in the meantime, I look for wooden planks to seal the entrance to the hidden stairs.

sunday: badminton with Nancy! glad she could join us. hopefully will see her again next week.
on the way to lunch, the car in front stopped suddenly so I banged into her car. couldn't stop on time but I wasn't like speeding. I did drive too close. her car was okay. mine wasn't. will bring it to assess the cost later.
