mini-update

Sigh, wanted to blog about my trips i been ... but after organizing and chatting, kinda lazy, so i'll do a short update...

So far, I've been using my new Vostro 1500 that my sis bought. Its a lappie, I called it Ditto.. its in Vista, still playing around with it. Keyboard is abit noisy but its okay, i like the way it types... heh..

watched supernatural s3, heroes s2, and weeds s1. recommend Weeds to anyone, just for the sake of watching the mum... lol Mary Louise Parker, an older lookalike of Kate Beckinsale.

Nanc'.. thats the way we should call Nancy, to make her look hotter.. but lol.. Nan suits her .

gonna watch the s2 n s3 of Weeds before i go back.

also! I bought my tickets to Boston and back from NY!

Can't wait! this is going to be good. get to finally see minli n nick for the first time since they left KL. lol... was supposed to see Calvin too but decided that to pay USD200+ just to see his face, is totally not worth it. so.... LoL

Also! I went to Disneytown yesterday! :D Watched Iron Man with Alan (Big sis didnt come along cos she had to take care of Brandon) which is Freaking awesome! What I like about the story is that is feels so real and realistic. Theres nothing supernatural about him, just super gadgets (which is not supernatural). The visual effect is awesome and looking at his armor that is so classy and shiny. Its really one of the best Marvel productions I've watched. Too bad, Alan said that they are not planning to make part two.

I think I got into the hyped late last night and googled on Iron Man. In the comics, down the road he went to the space, to some planet and after some transmutation, the armor merged which is body, allowing him to use his brain to activate his armor whenever... lol HOW COOL IS THAT?!? LoL...

The movie is also really good cos of Pepper.. lol I like Paltrow. one of my fav actress. others would include.. scarlett! lol n kiera...

as for the guys, my favs are ewan and josh hartnett.

anyways, WATCH IRON MAN IN THE CINEMA GUYS!

Nephew and muh trip!

This is my first time meeting my lil' nephew Brandon... LoL.. and he called me kau fu... (though it doesnt sound like that but yeah, he meant that!) He's really fun, and smart... I wonder how I was like when I was his age... He likes playing with spinning things.. e.g. wheels n helicopter's rotor. I think sis made him understand how to make decision by keep asking him questions.. which is kinda interesting.... can take a page or two from sis' book of growing babies. :)

Hello Kitty at the Taipei Airport. :) Had a 1.5hr break here. Walked around.... there was a GAMEZONE shop as well, with playable PS3 for try-outs. Tempted, but didn't...

the last night with Sparkle

I opened Nancy's Sparkling Apple Juice yesterday. I didn't really wanted to do it without her, but since the house is going to be sold, and the fact that leaving there by itself in the fridge alone for the next one month plus is not a really good idea, I decided to share it with my other friends. I wanted to like opened it with her and Kit Mun, but both of them are busy this week, with assignments and work. Next time I guess...

Anyway, we played 2 games of killer Bunnies and 1 Betrayal. Betrayal was interesting, but shame we couldn't do much... Chee Weng read the wrong haunt.. :P

We went home early, about 1.30am. Sent Chew and Hexiang home, before going to kaufu's house and watched MU drew with Blackburn! Chelsea is back in contention.. if they beat MU and MU slipped up again.

difficult times for Reds

I am worried about Liverpool. Hicks is fucking everyone up, creating the atmosphere that causes everyone to have no choice but to give in to his wants. I hate him. A lot more now than ever. If your read the latest article on his view about Parry, you will feel how he is manipulating his position to exercise powers and make decisions to pull and garner support for his helm.

He is a sly, and it is even more obvious in the latest article when he said his priority after receiving Gillett's share is to offer Benitez a one year extension... Sigh! How disappointing!! I am sure that the sole reason for him to make that statement is to push Benitez and fans to switch to his side. This is wrong. I can't understand why is he has so much say in everything when Gillett has the other 50%. If only he can exert more of his authority, that would be good.

The battle in Anfield would only end in a stalemate, unless someone gives in. I hope Gillett doesn't. No matter how good the offer is, I am pretty sure DIC can give a better offer. Again, another wonder why Gillett needs' Hicks' permission to sell.

I admit, Parry did not manage Liverpool better in finance. Yes, he could have done better in gathering more income money, and the new stadium should have been built earlier. But no Liverpool fans would blame him. We are passionate about our tradition and culture. And besides, its not to say that we are not able to support the managers' transfer kitty. Every year we made a good amount of purchase. On the stadium, it was delayed, unfortunately. But it was already in progress even before Hicks Gillett came in. Mind you, it took time to research and analyze options available and to receive the approval of the council. I think I am not wrong that the plans for the new stadium came in sometime during Houllier's era.. towards the middle-end. It is the right time to discuss about a new stadium as that is when Liverpool begin to exert authority in the League and Europe again. Not ideal to do it before then because its unrealistic (needless to explain).

My hopes? Somehow something kick the sense out of Hicks to let go of Liverpool and give it back. To WHO? David Moores, that Morgan guy, Gillett, DIC, Liverpool FC Fan club.. anyone.

Benitez? I hope he stays, but I find it difficult to believe that he will if Barca or some Spanish club comes for him. Maybe Spain too. But regardless, if he is moving on, so are we. No one is bigger than the club itself. Choices? Martin O'neill, Michael Laudrup.. Frank Rijkaard

Players? Big sale I think.. all names are mentionable. No one is safe, thats for sure.

I need re-start myself and get the ball rolling again.

1. Plan meetups with the rest of people you haven't meet for the 2nd time .. and Nancy (lol) Haven't talked to her for awhile now. Funny status she has on her Facebook. assingmentinitis.. something like that.. Also with the VTees! (Haven't see that HS online for ages d :(, did he quit? lol.. )

2. Try to do ONE different thing this week. Go somewhere new. Eat somewhere new. that MAGE cafe!!! and ermm.... maybe go and do some voluntary work (hopefully)

HOUSE CLEANING part XXXIIII.. lol House is sold. I need to help sisters and myself to do some cleanup and arrange the boxes that we want to keep at one side..

Wed: Chef Loong... finally got a taste of my almond tea... after wanting to drink that in PG but tak jadi.... then Kit Mun call me for a meal the next day..

Thu: Buffet @ Mandarin Oriental cancelled... Kit Mun and I went to Pizza Hut, before coming out of it to go to Secret Recipe next door. Its nice catching up with her. Was shocked to learn about the news from our friends in EY. Had Choc Mud cake. Yummy. Thu we went for dinner also. 6 to 10. $$$ flying away

Fri: Game night n yumcha! Didnt play Betrayal.. which I really wanted to.. :( Smashing and Raying on Wii... I bullied Amanda in three games. First one for fun, the other 2 cos she asks the rests to target me... lol...

Sat: Movie. 3 Kingdoms. I like to story. But I think it ended too fast. Don't really like how they skipped the in between of his uprising and fall.. would like to see some of stories in between then.. and what happened to the girl?! But overall I like the story and how the ancient war strategists think. Coolness... made me feel like watching the other Andy Lau movie on the bandits one.

Sun: popiah.. and Souled out. i think.

so what happened? short update

1. Went and do my us visa last Friday. Lunch @ Esquire Kitchen with CCW.

2. Played Betrayal and Mad's game. Wasn't that fun with the Betrayal. Ended too fast.

3. Went back to PG. ate good food. 'pai'ed ah mee.

4. came back. Didn't do anything. went back home

5. caught sick. flu

6. Monday - Lunched with CCW n HL @ Sg Wang Econ rice. Walked to Jln Ampang near the Hardrock Cafe there. Took Metrobus to Wisma MCA. Collected my passport.

7. Went back home. Made some simple food. Sandwich with cucumber, baked beans, boiled egg and sausage.

8. Installed FM2006, Streetwars, Railroad Tycoon onto the PC :) GOOD TIMES!!!

9. Watched local shows. One of the ad, contact lens one, Bausch n Lombs, veryfunny. Its only on NTV7 though. try to catch the Making this weekend.

10. Oh, I did go to gym for about 20minutes... the Bike one was broken.. don't know why... could have been those cleaners.

11. Thought about a new brand. its call Adike. You pronounce it as Ah di key

12. Woke up... played FM.

13. Ate leftover from yesterday. Finished sunquick.

14. Came over to kammo's house. Start looking at air tickets to LA. Checking EVA, MAS, SG, China, United & Delta.

15. Realised I don't save much from taking different airlines go and back.

16. Ate dinner.

17. Blogging.

Gonna stay up till Liverpool's match is over. 5am. That is about 9hrs frm now. Kinda worried, but confident, mainly because we rested most of our players.

decent update.

1. went to MV 3 days in the last five for this job that I'm deciding not to pursue further.

2. learn about FOREX

3. went out for lunch with HL on Tuesday @ Sg Wang's Economic Rice (ticks one more restaurant of the 'list')

4. visited Pavilion for the first time on Tuesday

5. had lunch @ Mama's kitchen for the first time in 3 yrs (unless i had it during my internship, doubtful though)

6. started reading 20th Century Boys

7. had MY's Gloria Jeans Coffee for the first time, and the 2nd, simultaneously. ( Green Tea & Mango chiller)

8. saw star wars action figurines selling between rm15-20 at two different shops. this is my first time seeing these figurines selling at this low price since the first time i bought them!

9. bought a new thumbdrive.... the same one i bought for my Adelaide Uni @ LC. :D how cool is that? :P

10. watched the sunrise while listening to Emi's cd. Wonderful feeling :)

coming to terms with myself.

I don't really know how to start this post. So I'll just babble my way through it.

Life is short, too short to worry too much about things that are too little when you think back. Life is too short to fill up your mind with unhappy thoughts and feelings, that in the end, what's the point? You only end up making yourself miserable.

I know myself that I try my best not to keep things in my heart, things that I like to shout at people, telling them how unhappy I am with their actions, but is that the right way to handle the situation? Keeping your mouth shut and letting things slide everytime you bum into a confrontation? I don't think there is a Right way or there is a wrong way. There are ways, and the consequences of the different solutions leads to different places. We should be looking for long-term benefit, rather than solving issues in view of the short-run.

Balance is the word. I think that several times, I should just yell out what I feel inside, and just let things out, make myself feel better and then u wake up and make up with whomever. That's something that what my friends told me that how friends should be like. Forgive and forget. I can forgive, but I find it difficult to forget. No matter how I pretend, I know I still remember what you did to me because I think about it, over and over again.

Therefore, balancing the right amount of anger-release and bottling some of it would be ideal. Ideal. Word that we use to describe things we love to want and own. No one is perfect. I know I am not.

Anyway, I am thinking of things that I've left behind. What should I do about it? I want to do something to make it better, to start over, but not everything is as easy as I want them to be. Just because I want them so, doesn't mean others do. And I am taking into account how others would feel from what actions I might take. Is this a good reason/excuse for being the way I am? Maybe. Depends.

I think, after all the babbling, I want to say that there isn't any point to keeping hard feelings against someone inside. Let it out and forget. Move on. I want to try to be someone with this personality.

where should i start?

I wanted to blog about my dream i had two days back. its about me, amanda, ccw and ks/hl (they both assume the same person at different times) going to watch a movie, which then somehow we are part of the movie and the situation where the city is under attacked is actually happening. i got shot twice, but stayed alive. tried killing this mutated girl holding a gun with knives. lolz. a lot of weird things, like how we try to resupply ourselves, and paying 'security fee' to these two arab girls whom one of them is actually from kl. odd.

went out for wii & yumcha last night also.

didn't take too many pics of my dinner just now, have to chap from ppl later. :)

wonder what's going to happen tmr, is the interview still on or what? no idea. no email from the fella. wonder if there would be riots as mentioned by nancy. god knows.

liverpool won 3-0, but doesn't feel as exciting to me anymore, not like how i felt before.

i m back, took less photos than HL's bday thing... mostly photos of amanda. did heaps of walking over there, finally ate my Mos Burger! caught up with kaima n katherine n eve. great! bought my SHOES! woot! ccw gave me a negative feedback but i r.like it so much that his comments didn't bother me.. so yay!

i ll be looking forward to do something like this again, traveling with a friend/partner.

i am online at 6am now cos' we both went to sleep early... now i m suppose to check where to go etc and find the next place to stay since the Hive only have one night vacancy.

i thought alot about you on my way here. there are so many feelings, good and bad. but somehow, i know that it doesnt really matter what i felt, or even what i feel now towards you. i know that what happened happened and what will be will be. i can't go all my way there to stop things from changing or not changing. but one thing for sure is i m tired too, just like you. so i'll take a down a notch and see where this goes.

SAC is next week.. need to start planning for it.

Shitty thing now :- the SAC might be on this Sat, and I've already purchased my ticket to SG leaving today at 4pm. I wouldn't know if the SAC is on this Sat or next week till later today, very crappy... I KNOW! So, my plan is :-
1 - if still unsure, i'll stay.

2 Days In Paris

ahh, almost forgot...
munkee went out yday for a free movie + dinner thing, which i won it thru some contest.

She told me to meet at the staircase, which I did... then after waiting like 5-10 mins, I saw this girl, a floor beneath me, walking around in front of my eyes. I was thinking to myself "the height, that hairstyle, I cannot mistaken her for someone else..." and I was right..

Apparently Escalator is the same as a staircase :P lol

we went in to the preview lounge to have our 'dinner', which turns out to be just tiny bites of paddington pancakes' mini pancakes... which is really yummy, all of them! except the big one with this green coloured berry... damn eeww.. its not bitter, but the taste is awful!! i like the drink, its orange with squashed strawberries.. they even have the 'zha' or 'saki baki' of the strawberries in the cup.. so.... :P

then, they have some competition for couples. they asked for volunteers and we both agreed that we will not participate in these games la.. Thank Gawd we didn't lor! The game was make up contest.. where one will make up the other... I was thinking to myself. Its either the girl get make up by their inexperienced bfs, or the GUY get some touch up from the know-what-to-do females... Good thing is that they won some cool stuff la, cool if you are a couple.

Didn't win the lucky draw either.. ah wells!

then we went and see people play RockBand, before going in for the movie.

there is this lady, Carol Han, who blogs for Fashion Elle. She sums up how I feel about the movie, Julie Delpy & Before Sunrise and Sunset. The way the Befores and this movie is portrayed, to me, is that its a story about this ordinary love story. Unlike most movies (where they like to make the love story more towards a fantasy), the love story here is something that people can relate to, and find it so real. It is simple love. I esp like the theory towards the end of the story, as that is what everyone will or did go thru.

:) and this movie has met my expectations and beyond! par the ending, the movie was all-out-laughter from the start. too bad they censored quite a few scenes, which prolly relates to blow jobs, fucks and etc. Having say that, the censored scenes did not ruin the movie.... but I know that it will add even more fun and laughter.. ^_^

But anyways, it was nice meeting new people (As usual). I even got a lift from her. :D hehe

later on, went to kammo's house, sit sit awhile, ate fruits then go mahjong at ks' house.. ho ho ho... on my way out, saw honshen, he asked 'i thought cny over d, still mahjong?' I replied swiftly, 'Seasoned gambler.' ^_^ ... good outing, managed to increase my acc. receivables amt. lol

Kmun, ccw, ks, amanda, eeling and me went to the Apartment for drinks yday. I ordered this cheap White Snow, damn sweet.. and not hard.. ccw's LYCHEE Martini is funny..

Then, ks and I went back to our own place to pai tian kong, then went out for mamak at Banana Leaf. I really like how kit mun was hanging with my friends =) (Ok, it is not specifically Kit Mun only, if Nancy or Li Lin or Hon Seng hang out with my friends I also like as much)

stayed over at ccw's place. watched the Office (US). slept & wokeup. surf Nancy's blog. I re read the blog from the beginning. I can't believe that Austin incident was that long ago!!! feels like just not too long ago.

then read2 halfway, power cut... ha-ha.. saw uncle manually open the auto-gate. later I bought idd talk to call minli.. :) good times! i don't really rmb that i went out wit her for v day lor... maybe the person is someone else... not me.. dunno... if it did happen also, it must be 2004 lor

lunched with amanda, kf, ks and ccw. village park again, ordered soto ayam, it was okay. OHH! nasi impit --> satay one!!! hahaha was wondering where did i eat that thing b4...

went back home afterthat, showered then go and collect my cheque, bank it in and then hangout at kammo's place awhile. found out i found the contest for v-day one.. then went out for movie - Jumpers - everyone dunt really like it.. but I find it watchable and its not bad. I enjoyed my time ler. (dunno, cos to me, bad movies are those that r really dull that i can fall asleep one)

they also find CJ7 ok ok nia.. i ll give it at least 7/10. i think the part that i hate is the grossness of the big size girl... other than that its alright ler. the storyline is good to me.
