Bernard Fanning Stucked in my Head

I only know that line, so.... ^^ Bernard Fanning is the guy from Powderfinger who came out with his solo album. I think if I were to be in a group/band & I were to go solo, won't I prefer hiring them (the band) as instrument players, rather than going off and hire some new kid on the block (NKOTB) who won't understand you as much as they (the band) do. My understanding (assumptions/ theory) on reasons why artisits would have a solo album:
1) $$$
2) Personal
3) Different style compared to group

4) Taste of being solo

First and 3) I am fine... but personal.. hell, aren't those previous songs you wrote comes from your own personal life as well? I mean, its really sad, e.g. Destiny's Child, everyone coming out with their own album and realised that they can make mo' money this way, so yeah, I'll quit!!!

I prefer Destiny's Child rather than Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle separated. You now have to buy three albums compared to one before!! LoL, well No, I am Not a fan of Destiny's Child, Just trying to make my point.

I like Coldplay alot, esp after I read their interview. They want the album X&Y to suck so that the next would not be a failure. It was something like that. And the results? SUCCESS to x&y!!! I find that Coldplay's songs are somewhat very different (Might be cause they are from UK). I won't like their song when I listen to it first time. It takes me listening to that particular song several times before getting the hang of it and really, enjoyed it!! Scientist was the one that never caught my ears.... not until you listened to it in Wicker Park. And suddenly, you get the meaning of the lyric and go like "Oh, I want it!!"

Thankfully I have it in my pc then. I head off to Ka Seong's house after that movie. That night, I think I read the lyrics and just listened to that song.

I LOVE Third eye Blind. Its just really really SAD that they changed one of their member, I think it was the drummer. And hence, Third Eye Blind became a 2nd tier rock band. The first album, the songs are all awesome... I Lurve 'How it's gonna be' back then. The 2nd album got a couple of good songs but the music became a little too gayish. :( Sad but true.
I like Atomic Kitten too, and S Club 7 & Poetic Ammo... and where are they now? No, they are not on MTV, they are disbanded... due to the downwards flowing popularity rate. WHY? Members start leaving the group. And mind you, those S Clubbers who came out with their album, they are no where to be found (cept' Rachel cos' she's too hot)

Oh, and when you are really successful and retired. Don't you ever, ever, EVER, make a COME Back. It ruins everything really. Stay as a legend. Don't go like legend turned failure to adapt to new age music that you style of music you have to change into somewhat not even close to your legendary sounds and that your album is selling well because you are a legend not because your new album is good. Seriously.

I've been wanting to say this ever since I heard about them. Isn't the name of their band is one of the industrial revolution thing we learned in history?!? If I am not wrong, it has something to do with the pembajakan... the farming... They been around for ages already. I never once listened to their music. Might try someday.

I have a feeling that I am beginning to slip to the past as the new century of music begins, again. Hip-hop, R&B, jazz did pop-out and reign the music industry for quite a period a few years back. Whenever you turn on the MTV/ Channel V you ll see some black person (not meaning to be offensive but its a fact) rapping their way to the Gs and Diamonds. After that the Rock kicked back!!! Thank gawd!! I prefer rock way much than rappers with the fuck(s) and pimps and Holla Holla yo yo watsup?. Hate it so much. I mean like gosh, if I really wanna listen to ANY of your lives I can just buy one and get the picture for all of you. Anyways, ROCK was back... with the new bands e.g. Simple Plan, Maroon 5, Hoobastank, Killers etc... and followed by one-person guitar playing attractive guys.. who else to lead the new niche other than Ryan Cabrera.

I just rmb! Stephen Jenkins frm 3EB is who's boyfriend??? ".. cause you know I walk a Thousand miles, to just, see you.. Tonight.." lalala How hot are they? I really think they matched each other... hmm geographical reasons. I dont know anyone else coming from SF. ^^

Anyways... back to the story. So after awhile.. the same happened to rock. overflow of new bands. I mean like gosh... one song from each new bands... all one hit wonder... damn shit le! Next time they should put them into some sort of American Idol test so Simon Cowell can piss off those losers. T_T Good Charlotte came back too btw!! I rmb them before their gothic look. Then, it was just a bunch of young guys with not even the slightest look of Gothicness. So anyways, after the overflow of rocks came the blues & jazz... Michael Buble, Jamie Cullum came in... offer a very different flav to the industry, like Norah. Il Divo? Yeah that four guys from I dont knw where. Then... got this.. TEN TENORS... TEN GUYS!!!! I was like ?!?.. When I heard about S Club 7 I already think thats too much... now this?!? and my gawd.. 10 guys singing this kind of stuff.. some are even near wat you call ugly.. lol...

I like to say... Black Eyed Peas really makes themselves notable. Their musics are somewhat really 'new'. Hip-hop newage.

But anyways.. the cycle starts again... Blacks are back. I think.

I never really thought about it that way. All the times that I pinpoint out ppl who were trying to avoid their problems and ask them to face it instead of running away, that I was constantly running from my own problems as well. Everyone does, most of us humans do I think, running away from unwanted conflicts.

We all do… we talk about things we prefer, we omit incidents to write in our posts so that we forget about it and never had that memory in our mind.I myself, only post about things that made my day and random posts… never did I write anything about my family or my feelings on certain topic cause’ I know that its going to be bad.


I think that now, to think about it, daring to bitch about someone, takes a lot of guts (though of course you shouldn’t bitch about anyone at all). You are like basically going open-war with someone. I don’t think I dare to do that… not saying that I have a particular person I hate at the moment.

Controversial is not evil. It forces people to pick sides rather than sticking in between both lines of territory. It kicks us in the back to spit out what that’s in our mind.

Anyways back to the topic, I do still have some thoughts deep down inside me that I haven’t tell anyone before. I really want to, even though its not nice, even though its something mean, I feel the need to tell so that I can be corrected.

This is a true story from the WordPerfect Help Line, which was transcribed from a recording monitoring the Customer Care Department. Needless to say the Help Desk employee was fired. COMPUTER's monitor go crazy then KONG! its like at first got some sort of tv-like interferences... then the screen go "slim" sized... i decided to restart my comp.. ever since then.. its not been working.. wanted to bring it to fix bt unsure of the price.. checked out on the net apparently theres one nearby and they charge $175+ 4 yrs back... not sure how much they charging now... got look for price online.. ranges from 300-- 500+ saw a pc set which cost $200 which includes a monitor.. thinking about that one :) haha

might ask dad tobring one.. who knows?

anyways did a good and proud sketch today.. :) enjoyed it soo much.. realised that this elective of mine really gives me the relaxation feeling.. hah :)

Indulge the Process of Blog

I don't really think I should blog so often as ppl won't get to see my post... but I still can remind them.. HL CHEW NICK pls pls read the FM post!.. there.. done~! Was reading back my past blog entries... all so memorable... I cant imagine one day everything here just disappear.. One of the things that I regret is that I didnt blog earlier...

memories...I dunno why I am so attach to something which is the past... could it be cos' I am a Cancerian? I dont know... cherishing memory is not appreciating what you have now. I appreciate what I HAD... aikz~

looking back, its been 6+ mths since I left KL. many many things have changed, I'm sure. looking back, its been 2.5+yrs since I left High sch, many things would have been different if one of the tiny bitsy variable changes (e.g. college of choice, course of choice, class enrolled into, time used for during breaks). Looking back, its been 13yrs since I first entered primary sch... leaving my tadika Littlebell was something I forgot. LoL, I dont rmb taking that graduation pic over there at my tadika.. nor did I rmb Ailin or CCW or Jolene for that matter of fact. I think CCW is that boy who alwys wear the watch one!! must go back and check the pic again.. and yah, Yee Tyan too!!

looking back, I had wonderful time with my 'special' someone. with Cat, Hio Hwi and Jolene. :) I still talk to two of them, at least I think I do... Jolene its kind of hard to talk to.. alwys so bz and all.... HH is nw "stationed" in Johor... Cat is still in Sbh, but goin' back soon d... reunion with Lazy. Jolene.. i dunno.. still in HELP.. yeah.. thats all I know..

Looking Back, my friends changes since I was in std 1, but they have been constant for the past 5yrs, at least. :) Friend was sort of an issue I had when I was young. Making the wrong choices, befriending with ppl who takes advantage of myself (mind you I was big in size back then.. LOL... but got bullied T_T) Yeah... from ppl 'destroying' my stationeries to just making fun of me was not that fun at all... anyways, I do still consider the senior primary sch life frens I made as good friends, but we nvr really keep in touch. Jien Han + Jun Guan + Kevin Cheong... hmm Calvin was the evil Zuhalian.. so was Daniel.. so hahaha.. :P Nope nt really close to them... Gooi Vern n KKL was in my class, close they are, scary GV is... lol and still is... yeah looking back... nvr really got to know GV as much as i wanted too.. diff personality.

Looking back, I got 'acceptable results' from Upsr -> PMr -> SPM.. and thats where the downhill starts.. trying to change the landscape now.. to make it go back up! :) I was alwys in the good class.... just that I nvr get anywhere near top20 in it... :P

Looking back... how things would change if I were to stay as part of Interact board in F4 or I wasnt that 'weak' and fell during the scouts activity... or If I had the willingness to spend some doe on the camps. :) I did join YE, a sketch group representing SMDU, donated blood, became Asst. Treasurer in interact club, did my part in Flag Day (WWF and met April Jeremiah, whom I lost contact.. x.x hate it!), participated in the Law Olympiad (HELP) and went to Kapar. It was GOOD... yeahh :) wonder whers April nw... :P

Looking back, I alwys have this impression in 1 kiambang that HL is a good boy... let me remind all of u: dont judge a book by its cover. :P lol but yeah taking a glance at my past and all the ppl i met/know.. which is nt that many... few are left that we still talked... i mean like... Andrew? gd buddies in kiambang... XJ... hehe.. that one nonid to say lar... nvr c her on9.. nvr chat, nvr go out..... yeah.... Ming2? Sarena? dont see them anywhere d... "Awwwww"

looking bck.. I read alot of books when I was young.. Hardy Boyz! lol.. malay version... lol... Jamil Ah meng and muthu i think... its nice to read all the mystery stuff.. i like it... :) just that I lost that wanting to read more as i grow up

hehe.. looking back... i have a mirror, a bottle of lotion and gel, some books, bags on the floor, empty water bottle... i have 3 boost cups in front of me... different sizes... camera one on the left size of the keyboard with books covering the spaces beyond that. I indulge the process of bloggin because it alwys fills me with memories.. JOY... i think i have a tendency to skip all my saddy saddy stuff... but ... yeah yesterday, I was racially abused... by a couple of dumbasses... funny la its like to think that we are in the age of modern world, and yet there are ppl with the mind of a baboon.

ahhh... to think that my study life is going to end soon... I dunno.... what my future holds.. being an accountant and earn big bucks? i sure hope so... ppl and statistics alwys tell me that this is the job that the world is demanding. But when u see the rate of ppl graduating from this course and will be graduating the same time as I am.... I dont think that the demand would be anywhere near the supply... I am 20 yrs old now... a guy who plans/wanted/thinking of tying the knots before the age of 25... wonder how I am going to make that happen.. haha probably it wont.. most likely not... but I wondeer too if I got wat it takes to get back into the 'field' LOL.... anyways.. ppl should be looking in front and not back... LOoKing ahead.. I see myself wanting to travel around the world and do something helpful to the world. A(nother) day in the life of an FM06 addictPlay the GameBy Kurashima 03/03/2006

[07:15] Alarm goes off. Nudge girlfriend aside and open my SIGames curtains (Fabric : £130 , Seamstress : £110. Opening your eyes in the morning to see your room illuminated by the sun shining through a massive SIGames logo : Priceless). Get grunted at because I didn't come to bed till 4:30am after the last clan game.

[07:45] Showered. Had Breakfast. Left just enough time to go onto the site and check out today's updates to GPG before work. Text message arrives. "Solomon Kalou to solve your midfield crisis. £22M plus Glen Johnson". Damn you Bob, you know I'm at my weakest to resist in the morning. Text back with "I know about your secretary". Bob sends a revised message offering him for £6M.

[09:15] The boss isn't in today. Corporate team building exercise apparently. They're all off driving quad bikes up a mountainside with 20 layers of waterproof clothing. Didn't get an invite since they caught me using the overhead projectors and subbuteo figures to visualise my 4-3-3long ball counter attack. When I asked why I wasn't invited they said "You spend too much time building a team as it is". Have they been reading my Clan updates?

[10:30] First couple of rounds of coffee have been digested, and with the boss out the office, I'm spending a lot more time getting on with what's important round here - that being persuading IT that I have permission to host FM06 on the company servers. IT seem to be coming round to my way, then I let it slip about me being the guy who changed the company screensaver to a screenshot of To Madeira's stats , and the line goes dead. Next time, ill just tell them I know where they live.


[12:00] I'm a bit worried now. I haven't heard from Denise all morning. I sent her flowers to say sorry for last night, but no text messages proclaiming her undying love for me. Why wouldn't she like the flowers, especially after I arranged that great wreath with the FM06 logo on it for her dad's funeral? He loved that game. Maybe she's just working too hard.

[13:00] Lunchtime and a stroll down to the shops. Well, THE shop, that being the local games shop. Dave's been working hard there; despite his failures to manage an FM06 side, he's now managing the shop. This means a healthy set of discounts and a heads up when there's a new game guide coming out. He's thinking of expanding the store and opening a new branch in a local retail park. When I ask why he's not happy with what he has, he reminds me that I replaced Lampard with Ronaldinho despite Frank scoring 22 league goals and providing 18 assists. I try and convince him that if you stand still in this world, things pass you by. He suggests playing them together, and I'm late back to the office explaining why you can't because they're too similar.

[14:45] Boss phones. Wonders why I wasn't at the meeting he scheduled this afternoon. I thought he was teambuilding, but he explains that multitasking doesn't just mean running FM on a laptop and a base unit. Besides, it's a videoconference, and in my absence, it's been decided that the company is "Refocusing its synergy to reflect the growing market presence of its product". I smile, nod, promise to run the project (like I did the last three times we Refocused our Synergy) and ask him if he wants me to realign the business model with the Michels-Kovacs strategy. He's very pleased that I've been taking such a diligent approach to my research. I tell him it's my new "Total-Business" strategy within the office. Damn, I'm good!


[16:00] Tonight's game is still being hosted by Alan Wilson of Sprockets Inc. The amount of business flowing between the two companies has ebbed and flowed considerably. When Alan won the League Title, the amount of business dropped to zero as his club was unstoppable. When he was suddenly sacked after failing to retain, and had to take a lesser job as manager of Huddersfield, business picked up tremendously, possibly due to him signing or loaning most of my youth team. The Sprockets business is a funny old game.


[17:00] Home time. Alas, I have to stay late tonight, despite the game being up from 18:30 onwards. The boss pops his head round the door to be told that I'm just "re-evaluating the Neeskens-Muhren strategy and its benefits to the goal of a modern office". In reality, I'm just telling yet another brain-dead moron from OTF that I think his clubs potential to be Champions of Europe is on the same level of potential as Notts County winning the Premiership. Clearly I cannot leave the computer until this guy backs down, or his mum calls him for dinner. Ooooooh, damn. Dinner. Supposed to be going to Dinner with Denise tonight and I've let it clash with a game session. WHAT A SCHOOLBOY ERROR!


[18:20] I get home and Denise is ready to go. She's not too upset that I'm late, since she knows it takes me 15 minutes to get ready, as I only have 2 shirts and she won't let me wear the AFC Wimbledon one. Apparently, we are going to La Bistro, and it's taken her 3 weeks to get a table. She says that Cindy is coming and so is Bob. BOB? Well that's good news, it means he's going to miss the session as well, and since he's chasing me in the hunt for a Champions League spot, it means that we have a topic of conversation, and his assistant manager has to control the team.

[19:30] La Bistro is a wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is serene, the waiting staff polite, well mannered and well dressed, the food expensive, but magnificently cooked, and the wine list to die for.

Of course, both Bob and I don't notice any of this. In fact, it's visible to everyone else on the surrounding tables that neither of us wants to be there. When we do talk, it's in a hushed tone so as not to get beaten about the head by Denise and Cindy. It's obvious he's also under orders not to talk about "That bloody game". We devise a cunning hand signals system which enables us to discuss tactics but it's eventually found out when the waiter threatens to chin Bob for giving him a single finger salute. Busted!

[21:45] I'm heading home alone. As is Bob. Denise and Cindy, having decided enough is enough, have gone out on the town and we are not invited. RESULT! We both grab taxi's home and sprint in to the computer room in our respective houses. Games been up for 3 hours, I'm out of the League Cup! Beaten by Doncaster Rovers. Dammit. How can things get any worse?


I check the game date. Oh no. Oh god no! February 2nd. They've played right through the transfer window without me. I can't get Kalou! Or ... anyone. I try and rationalise going through an entire transfer window with a single panic buy, but I just can't do it. It's like my entire season is over. I bang the keyboard hard in frustration.

And it breaks.
Now I'm in trouble. The game is up, I'm in, and the mouse still works, but I can't chat with the lads. I can't make any deals. And if the game crashes, how do I type in the new IP? Oh woe is me!

[23:00] Games been dead smooth, and so have I. We have a couple of relatively new players, and one of them, a Turkish lad called Orhun, has a very good grasp of written English, but a rather naive approach to the game. He expects us all to play fair and to win in an honourable manner. So when he loses his star player to a minimum fee release clause (which I advised him to use to attract the player in the first place, knowing I planned on stealing him once he had adjusted to the Premiership) he's not best pleased. And when this is followed up by me signing 2 of his coaches, and a wonderkid 16yr old, Orhun starts to complain to anyone who will listen. My gloating gets the better of me and I mock him by text message. He sets himself on holiday to check google and find out what a "Schoolie" and a "n00b" are.

[23:45] I knew it would happen. Game crash. Unsurprisingly, it's again just as the host loses an important cup game to a lower league side. Everyone sits around waiting for the game to come back up and rejoin. It's not that simple for me. I'm frantically texting Alan, Bob and Dave telling them my keyboard is broken, so could Alan please make sure he does NOT reset his router in case the IP changes. I don't get any responses.



[00:00] First text response. From Dave: "This is what happens when you stand still in the shop and let a new keyboard pass you by".Second text response. From Bob : "That's unfortunate mate. You could drive round here and borrow my spare, but Cindy will kill you the second you open the door. She's just got in and she's really aggressive when she's drunk"

WAIT! The Laptop. I'm saved. I just have to.... Ahh crap, it's in the office! Where are my car keys?

[00:30] "No, seriously officer. I'm not drunk. I've been out for a meal with the girlfriend and I only had a couple of beers. See, I was playing FM and I missed the transfer window, and then I got mad so I smashed my keyboard, and now I'm driving to the office to get my laptop so I can play again. You want me to blow into the little tube? Well, I suppose that's ok officer. What does it do?"

[02:30] Denise arrives at South of the River Police station. The desk sergeant takes her details, opens the cell door and comes to let me out. The taxi is outside (and that's going to cost me the commission from the Sprockets deal) and I slump out of the cell, head down, trying not to listen to Denise tell me that game runs my life, and she doesn't feel appreciated, and she wishes she had left me alone with that bloody cat.

It's a funny old game FM, isn't it?

I don't think I read other ppl's blog alot, just that only those who I m wanting to know abt them. Read the Heng Lean's post abt beauty n the beast.. reminds me of the Everybody Loves Raymond joke abt his twin boys growing up and look ugly:

I seen many many frens wit makeup... dunno le.. just not used to it... looks weird.. you know? But like superstars and celebs all of them also put makeup.. but why theirs dont look as obvious... lol I rmb seeing S.H.E in lagoon, go upstage for signature session and OMG Selina and Hebe's makeup sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo THICK! crazy.. x.x

Its been quite a week I guess, attending the tutes and rushing to finish the works... but I managed. Talked to Seaneen, the student advisor abt my study plan of overloading and doing summer course. She of course didn't like it one bit.. but I said that I will still giv it a try and will drop Accounting Theory before the withdrawal date w/o incurring fee if I have any problems.

I decided to change the blog title after so long. I still like my previous one “the sun shines, the moon glows and the stars glitters, but where do I fit in?” I never thought that I could write or think in that matter of fact, something so beautiful and meaningful to myself. I am not sure how many of those who have read it before appreciate or finds it beautiful. I like how it covers the solar system and the way to describe what they do.

Anyways new title… I thought about it when I was about to sleep… LoL… Basically seeing that I have no Interesting post and that these are all just things or events I want to remember, “La Bla Blah” means that my posts are craps that you wouldn’t give too much damn (or bananas – Jolene), so you can just go and say “bla bla bla”, but of course, My special and kreatif mind tells me to be different and but la bla blah… as you can c each a letter is added after each word to form the next letter.. =D I like that part~ and that the title is more suitable than the previous one cos’ this one is not that ‘high class’ +D

I don’t know what should I talk about today/ tonight. I am glad that now my notes are better organized than before, but I am sure there are still ways to improve it. Oh, I did my nature journal last week, it looks crappy la so I wont be posting it so soon.. maybe till I get a few more post then I post all the pic together to show you guys the improvement… haha..

3 novels to read, 5 dvds to watch. Aihz.. I think I really have to cut down on DVDs… I got CSI, Shopgirl, Downfall and much ado about nothing. Most likely I ll be returning CSI and Much Ado about nothing. I wanted to watch the latter one because of the sketch I watched with Vanessa 2 yrs back. Its interesting and I wanna find out how its like in DVD starring Keanu Reeves. Downfall I definitely want to watch cos’ its about Hitler! Damn where you can find dvds these days talking about bad guys 1…. Hehe…

The novels two are from the left behind series, and one is Catherine’s PS I Love You. I finally got the right author’s, Cecilia Ahern’s. Its really fascinating to know that I can be obsess about the Left behind series novel…. Its like I can read non-stop… I mean oklar its not that abnormal that ppl can do that but to me it is.. .cos I AM NOT LIKE THAT!!

Hmmm you know one thing that I regret about is that I never blog/ journal about my life earlier… I mean there are so many things that I didn’t do, like those follow your instinct stuff till I was OLDer… haihzz.. well… life goes on…. Besides I know that wherever I go, coincidence, wishes coming true or luck will always be on my side…. =D

oh, just wanna say that I MIGHT be planning to go and watch Aus v lebanon, but news said that Lebanon is withdraw from competition due to the war with Israel… WANNA go to the Veronicas concert too, but then again…. Nevermind la… buy their album =DI miss s.h.e too~

Something weird happened to me last night. I was sleeping and had a dream... I cant rmb all of it nw, but I rmb HL was the enemy... Joann and I were staying in Villa Flora and we ordered pizza. She asked me wat I want I said anything~~ We fought later

When I woke up, it was already 10pm. I missed LOST. darn. Decided to go out to c wats happenning. Saw two pizza boxes on the dining table... dejavu?

At times, I alwys have this feeling that I've been thru the situation before. Its like I dreamt abt it b4 years back. I know its yrs back at least cos' I nvr really have alot of good/fun dreams as I grow older... Recurring Nightmares... But i dont get it anymore, not over here anyways.
